Project:: Reston Eastpoint Office Building and Parking Garage
Location: Reston, VA

Scope: A new 220,000 square foot Class A office building with a150,000 square foot, three level parking garage located in Reston, VA. The office building incorporated high end finishes, lights fixtures and extensive life safety systems.

Project: Anacostia Gateway
Location: Washington, DC
Owner: Private
Scope: 120,000 square foot office building with two levels of underground parking & mixed use commercial and retail space. Building consisted of power distribution, emergency back-up power, life safety systems, telecomm/data systems, and security systems. The building includes an environmentally engineered green roof as well as a pedestrian terrace on the roof of the building. The Anacostia Gateway project is the catalytic force that has anchored the town center project, and it will bring daytime employment and encourage economic growth in the surrounding areas. Young Electrical Contractors, Inc. received the Mid-Atlantic Construction Award of Merit for this project.
